Fresh Starts, Free of Charge

This past week at Junkdrop Nashville, we gave away everything from cribs to couches—completely free. That’s not unusual for us, but what made it stand out was the number of families who told us this: “We were starting over.”

One mom, recently relocated after leaving an unsafe living situation, received a full bedroom set for her two kids. Another family got a kitchen table and chairs after months of eating dinner on the floor. These weren’t just donations—they were turning points.

We talk a lot about reuse, recycling, and decluttering, but what we really do is restore dignity. Your old furniture isn’t just taking up space—it might be someone’s first real bed in years. It might be what turns a house into a home.

This is why we do it. This is why we show up every day.
