This Summer, We’re Moving More Than Junk

Summer in Nashville means longer days, hotter temps, and for many families—especially single mothers—it means more pressure. With kids out of school, limited childcare, and rising expenses, this time of year can stretch even the strongest moms to their limit.

At JunkDrop, we’re not just clearing out garages and basements—we’re stepping up for families in need. Through our Single Mother Project, we’re focused on helping moms who are doing it all on their own. That means removing what’s weighing them down—physically and emotionally—and replacing it with real support: furniture, supplies, essentials, and even peace of mind.

Why does this matter now more than ever?

📦 Summer is one of the most active times for removals — people are moving, renovating, and cleaning out. That creates the perfect opportunity to intercept items before they’re thrown away.

📊 85% of what we collect is either donated, repurposed, or recycled. That means your old couch or dining table could become a lifeline for a local family.

👩‍👧 Single moms are more likely to live below the poverty line and face housing instability—especially when schools are closed and support systems are limited.

So this summer, we’re doubling down.

We’re organizing strategic removals that directly benefit mothers in our network. We’re delivering essentials to families across the city. And we’re inviting you—our JunkDrop community—to be part of it.

Got stuff? Let it go—and let it do good.

Book your removal today and help us make this summer lighter, brighter, and more hopeful for the people who need it most.
